Over the past few weeks, we have received startling data in regards to the auto theft crisis, and how it has spiked in recent years. Only a few months into 2024, Ottawa Police have been alerted to more than 350 vehicle thefts. The hottest ticket in town for these carjackers is Bay Ward, where 37 cars have been stolen.
