After almost four years of controversy and several iterations, the expansion of the historic Chateau Laurier Hotel has a new look. An agreement was announced between Capital Hotel Limited Partnership and Heritage Ottawa for the proposed addition to the Downtown Ottawa staple. Heritage Ottawa says the new two-pavilion design is more compatible with the irregular silhouette of the original hotel, while also reopening iconic views to the rear courtyard.
