Ottawa Now – ‘I’m relieved and thankful’: Ontario increases restaurant capacity limits in Ottawa to 50 percent

View descriptionShare

The Ontario Government announced late Friday that capacity limits for indoor dining areas will be adjusted to 50 percent of the indoor dining area, with a cap of 50 people. Physical distancing rules still apply. The total occupancy of the business cannot exceed 50 patrons in Red-Control areas and 100 patrons in Orange-Restrict areas. This was welcome news for Orange Monkey Bar and Billiards owner Brian Beauchamp, who says he is relieved and thankful. He joined Kristy Cameron on Ottawa Now just minutes after the province announced the changes.
