The first day of school is inching closer by the day. Meantime, the tension between the Doug Ford PC government and the teachers unions has hit a boiling point. The unions say the back-to-school plan doesn’t protect staff and students adequately. The government maintains it has done everything possible. Lisa Levitan, an Elementary school teacher at the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, says her biggest concern is large class sizes.
