The Quebec government will soon be shifting responsibility for the upcoming Gatineau tram project. If all goes according to plan, it will be transferred from the City of Gatineau to Mobilité Infra Québec, the agency that oversees transportation projects in the province. Just 24 hours ago, Gatineau Mayor Maude Marquis-Bissonnette was first notified of the changes from Canada’s Transport Minister. And after Tuesday’s announcement, she fears that any potential delays could turn this steady build into a rocky road. She joins Kristy Cameron on today’s Ottawa Now.
