10 years after it was infamously launched by the Trudeau regime, the federal government is working to replace the troubled Phoenix pay system with a new payroll software. It's called Dayforce, and making the switch within the next several years isn't likely. However, a new report from Canada’s Auditor General has attached a stern warning to this future switchover. If the transition doesn't happen fast enough, it could add to rising costs. At the same time, if the old backlog isn't resolved first, payday errors could rear their ugly heads.
