OC Transpo Interim GM Troy Charter says work is still being done to address the primary problems on LRT Line 1. For those curious, 26 cars are needed to run the LRT service at peak demand. Right now, with the 3-to-4 minute intervals still in effect during peak periods, only 21 of them are running. We don’t have a precise timeline as to when the service will return to full strength. On top of that, the problems with Ottawa’s bus network are still persisting. And with frustration levels building once again, one city councillor is calling for an audit of O-Train disruptions.
