An Ottawa city councillor is calling for a bylaw against feeding wild animals, arguing that the innocent-looking practice can also attract rodents. Laura Dudas has organized a motion, which will be presented at City Committee on Thursday. Over at the City of Toronto, bird-feeders are fair game, but feeding wildlife on private and public property is prohibited. Similar bylaws are also in place for Brampton, Oakville, and Vaughn.
