Mayor Mark Sutcliffe says the City of Ottawa won’t be covering the cost overruns for the new Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus. It was initially projected to cost $2.8 billion, with the Ontario government covering $2.1 billion of that. Last week, we learned that the Ford government’s contribution has surged to nearly $10 billion – raising concerns as to who will pay for the rest of it.
