18-year-old Ottawa dancer Meaghan Mukamba was invited to perform at the FIFA World Cup Halftime Show during Sunday's Finals. However, on the day she was set to depart for New Jersey, she was informed by Shakira’s team they were unable to move forward with her participation, citing production-related U.S. work eligibility compliance issues. Understandably, this news came as a tremendous disappointment after endless preparation, but Mukamba remains hopeful about what is on the horizon. She joins Patricia Boal on CFRA's Ottawa At Work.
