After the provincial government inked an agreement with the feds for $108 million in funding for school nutrition programs, we ask you if such program (the national food program) is needed? Opinions are mixed. Later, the Ottawa Food Bank  released its 2024 Ottawa Hunger report today; CEO Rachael Wilson says in the New Year, they will have to "... reduce the amount of food that's delivered to the network of agencies..." Plus, CTV Ottawa reporter Dylan Dyson drops by to discusses the verdict in the Pat King trial.

Ontario has signed a 3-year deal worth $108M in federal school funding. We're asking you whether you believe Canada does need a national food program. Joanne Heritz, adjunct professor of political science at Brock University, believes a national program is a start but won't solve the problem. Later, Delphine Robitailler, president of the the University of Ottawa Students' Union, explains why they (uOttawa) could reconsider participation in the UPass, if the proposed city fare increase increase goes through.
