As Iran widens with bombardments across the Middle East, the number of Canadians seeking consular help to flee the region has spiked to 3,500 people. More than 108,000 Canadians in the region have registered with Global Affairs Canada. One of those individuals looking for a way home is an employee at 87 George St. Ali Dhaif is a security guard and is currently stuck in Baghdad, Iraq. He joined Ottawa at Work to talk about what brought him to Iraq and his efforts to get back to Canada.
