According to a recent national survey conducted by AutoTrader, interest in today’s electric vehicles have plummeted for two straight years. Ford, an automotive giant in this field, claims that it has been taking a loss on every single vehicle it sells. Meantime, Tesla has struggled to maintain its momentum, with its sales slowly dropping in 2024. Yet, Honda is planning to build a series of EV plants in Ontario. What is holding you back from purchasing one of these vehicles? Do we have the proper infrastructure? Kristy Cameron tackles today’s Question of the Day. Meantime, Statistics Canada has released its annual Canadian Income Survey. This time, it’s the report for 2022, but the alarming patterns surrounding food insecurity continue to get worse.
