Safety experts in Canada’s Capital are encouraging you to exercise the proper degree of education and caution as you approach open waters. Almost six full months have passed in 2024, and Ottawa Fire Services has been summoned for 18 water rescues. In the month of May, they received 6 calls. In the first 14 days of June, they have received 6 calls. We deliver a potentially life-saving lecture with Sean Duffy, the Vice-President of Management and Training at Lifesaving Ontario.
