Following her initial diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, Sindy Hooper dedicated herself to Making Every Moment Count (MEMC), fundraising at Tamarack Race Weekend and other events throughout the years.

Unfortunately, Sindy is again facing cancer that has now metastasized and is receiving palliative chemo treatments, but it hasn't slowed her down. 

She's continuing her fundraising efforts, including at an upcoming Sens Alumni hockey game vs Ottawa Hospital doctors on April 23. All fundraising efforts hope to get her total over the $400,000 mark.
