Broadway Across Canada is bringing the musical Jagged Little Pill, featuring the music of hometown hero Alanis Morissette, to the National Arts Centre May 30 - June 4. 

Jena VanElslander plays the "avatar" of the main character Mary Jane. She joins Patricia Boal to talk about that role and its uniqueness, how the musical uses Alanis's music in a story all its own, the demands of the performance, and more.
