Canadian astronaut Joshua Kutryk was roughly 420 kilometres above the Earth when he stepped into the vacuum of space on Thursday morning – making him the fifth Canadian to perform a spacewalk. During the spacewalk, which is expected to last nearly 7 hours, Kutryk will help install 7 of 8 new solar arrays needed to upgrade the station’s power capacity. CFRA’s Patricia Boal chats with Cassandra Marion, a science advisor at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum.
