Ottawa Public Health is alerting residents to several possible measles exposure locations, which appear to be connected with two confirmed infections in Canada’s Capital. In a news release earlier today, OPH said the two residents were exposed to measles outside of Ontario, and that the risk to the general population remains low. So how exactly do measles spread, and how can people know if they’re at risk? Kristy Cameron checks in with Dr. Michelle Foote, the Associate Medical Officer of Health at Ottawa Public Health.
