In 1998, the federal government reserved the last Sunday of September as a sacred time to recognize Canada’s fallen police officers, human beings that paid the ultimate sacrifice to keep our communities safe. But on the eve of this year’s national service, the RCMP’s B.C. Department was struck by tragedy once again. That story is coming up in Hour 4.
