As of September 2024, Ontario’s high school students will have to take a course on Technology and the Skilled Trades. It’s required for Grade 9 students, as well as Grade 10 pupils, in order to graduate. But as the Ford government deals with an ongoing tech teacher shortage, it appears likely that the teachers who are assigned these courses won’t even have the credentials to teach these modules.
