The federal government plans to sell half of its buildings across the country, basing the decision to ditch these workspaces around its current hybrid work model. For surrounding businesses who really benefit from the business of government workers, this is yet another gut-punch to their bottom-line. Kristy Cameron chats with Sueling Ching, the President and CEO of the Ottawa Board of Trade. Meantime, a flock of Red Birds are attacking runners and walkers on the Rideau Canal Pathway, prompting the introduction of a hazardous warning sign. Plus, Ontario’s soccer referees will be outfitted with body cameras this Summer. It’s all part of an effort to stop aggressive abuse at soccer games across the province. We hear from Johnny Misley, the CEO of Soccer Ontario.
