Sadly, that clarification is not good news, as a potential extension to April 2nd doesn’t currently exist. Canada and Mexico will receive 25 percent tariffs next Tuesday, as planned. As the feds try everything to change Trump’s heart, various Canadian sectors and businesses are hanging on the President’s words, trying to figure out what it all means for them. And in the case of EY Canada, a lot of their clients operate in industries that will be directly impacted by the tariffs. Ken Brooks, who works at EY Canada, pays us a visit.
