A whopping 915 OC Transpo bus trips had to be scrapped over a 3-day period this week. The bus service cites a ‘decrease in fleet availability’ and ‘increased congestion’ on Ottawa’s roadways as the primary reasons behind a series of inconveniences. To be more specific, its conventional bus fleet availability has been impacted by a backlog in bus maintenance.
