Shifting gears to the post-secondary world, Algonquin College has postponed its looming decision on yet another round of devastating cuts. The college’s Board of Governors was scheduled to consider a recommendation to cut 30 programs within the coming weeks. But after the province ended the ongoing tuition freeze, and also promised billions of dollars in new funding, that program-cutting tune has changed.
