Since the height of the Internet’s popularity, we have been warned to not use Google as a crutch to self-diagnose ailments. In the case of Ontario resident Ian Stedman, a simple Google search 10 years ago eventually led to a stunning discovery, not to mention game-changing answers to 32 years of questions. Stedman is now fighting a rare disease called Muckle-Wells Syndrome, a battle that his daughter is being sucked into after she was diagnosed with the exact same thing.
