Ontarians aged 18-and-older are preparing for a cold trip to the ballot box on February 27th. Today, all 4 political parties launched their election campaigns, as they gear up for 28 days of political warfare. The PC’s have launched a new ad, as Doug Ford accuses U.S. President Trump of playing games with the province’s economy. Meantime, Bonnie Crombie and the Liberals are focusing on healthcare issues. And as for the NDP, Marit Stiles has promised to remove tolls from Highway 407 if she is elected Premier. We monitor the campaign trail with CTV’s Siobhan Morris in Hour 1. Plus, we have a special edition of the Political Heat Panel this afternoon. It features Niipaawi Strategies founder Cam Holmstrom, Hollis Strategies CEO William Hollis, and McMillan Vantage Managing Director Richard Mahoney.
