This batch of data shows a dramatic shift in Canadian habits, with 8-in-10 people now cutting back on dining out due to the rising cost of living. The biggest jump in cutbacks, surprisingly, is coming from households earning over $100,000. As a result, local businesses are left holding the bag, even though projected industry sales are hitting nearly $130 billion in 2026.
