We all know that the price of Halloween treats has gone up this year, a familiar annual trend in the 2020’s. But will that stop you from pulling out all the stops on Fright Night? According to a new Leger poll, which surveyed 1,520 Canadian adults throughout October, more than 25 percent will spend at least $100 more than they did last year. Nearly 70 percent said they were willing to fork over as much money on treats and costumes as they did in 2023. And as for the rest of them, they aren’t spending a dime on tonight’s celebrations.
