After multiple days of testing, Ottawa's LRT system began simulations of regular light rail service on Thursday morning. Transit riders are still awaiting a firm date for full-service restoration. So far, the city officials' best estimate for a full-strength fleet is within the first two weeks of December, with some form of service potentially being restored in the next couple of weeks.
