According to a new poll by Leger 360, 27 percent of Canadians now see the United States as an ‘enemy’ country. For those curious, the survey polled 1,500 Canadians from February 14th to February 17th. On the other side of the coin, 30 percent of Canadian respondents still view America as an ally, while another 27 percent classify the U.S. as a neutral country. The survey also polled 1,000 Americans, with 56 percent of U.S. respondents classifying Canada as an ally and only 1 percent calling Canada an enemy country. In other news, the Canadian Armed Forces is on track to meet its recruitment goals for 2025, thanks in large part to an uptick in applications since Donald Trump’s return to the White House.
