A fair warning that the contents of this conversation might be disturbing to some listeners. The family of a 12-year-old school shooting victim has launched a negligence lawsuit against OpenAI. It comes several weeks after the small town of Tumbler Ridge was plunged into a state of darkness. In the case of Maya Gebala, she was shot 3 times, remains in B.C. Children’s Hospital with a traumatic brain injury, and is fighting for her life. Andrew Pinsent chats with Florian Martin-Bariteau, an Associate Professor at UOttawa. Shifting gears to the big screen, Hollywood actor Timothee Chalamet is receiving some heat from the Opera and Ballet crowds. During a candid conversation alongside fellow Hollywood actor Matthew McConaughey, Chalamet said he didn't want to pour ounces of blood and sweat into an industry that is fading out of mainstream relevance, citing opera and ballet by name. Was he out of line? CFRA show producer Mitch Kedrosky offers his two cents. Plus, Team Canada might have been eliminated by Team USA at the World Baseball Classic, but they still made plenty of history in the pre-Spring spectacle. Technical producer Stephen Ellsworth explains why.
