Joyce Echaquan, a mother of seven, went to the a hospital Quebec with stomach pains, and there, two nurses taunted her with slurs right before she died. One nurse has been fired and the coroner will investigate. 

Evan Solomon speaks about this incident with Mary Ellen Turpel-Lafond, a law professor at the University of B.C., a former judge and a member of the Indigenous bar. She was appointed by the government of B.C. to investigate anti-Indigenous racism in the B.C. health care system.
