Starting next Tuesday, customers who are boarding domestic Air Canada flights at Vancouver International Airport will be able to walk onto the plane without presenting their drivers’ licence. Well, on the majority of those flights, at least. They also won’t be asked to present their passports or any other form of physical identification. That’s because the airline is introducing facial recognition technology, making it the first airline in this country to deploy the software. After 42 years in the heart of Downtown Ottawa, Steve’s Music Store will be moving locations in 2025. The iconic yellow sign with bubble black letters has been an iconic fixture at the corner of Rideau Street and King Edward Avenue. Now, a new lease has been signed, and the business will be moving to another centralized location. Store Manager Dan Sauvé joins Kristy Cameron on today's Ottawa Now.
