Residents of Crystal Beach received bad news from the province on Friday, as one of Ottawa's hardest-hit communities during the July 1st floods was left off the original DRAO map. Keith Chadwick is a longtime Crystal Beach resident, and was one of many homeowners in the area that was stricken by significant flood damage. He's since had to gut out his basement after it was invaded by 16 inches of water. And while he is very frustrated with the Ford government, Chadwick says he's not surprised that the region was snubbed.
