Ottawa houses a lot of professional sports teams – from hockey and football, to soccer and baseball, to basketball and lacrosse. But if you live in Ottawa’s South End, perhaps you’ve caught wind of a different sports game night. Just think of a game of high-intensity dodgeball, except the projectile you have to avoid is a bunch of padded arrows. It’s called ‘combat archery’ – held at Archery Games Ottawa near Bank and Walkley. The spectacle started in 2015 and a brand-new Summer League is about to get underway.
