Ottawa’s Downtown Revitalization Framework is highlighting a slew of key issues that exist and persist within the Downtown economy. The Finance and Corporate Services Committee opened that can of worms earlier this week, arguing that the municipality can sometimes be over-reliant on the federal government for support. Mary Rowe is the President and CEO of the Canadian Urban Institute.
