Ahead of a scheduled trial, TikTok has opened their wallets and settled their end of a social media addiction lawsuit. The social network company is the second of four original defendants to reach an agreement with the plaintiff, leaving Meta and YouTube to defend their separate reputations as jury selection begins. And if this potentially historic case is pushed to the limit, we could see big-name CEOs taking the stand.
