Over the past 28 OHL seasons, excluding the cancelled 2021 campaign, only two teams have gone from a non-playoff team to a 100-point team in just one year. Within that same window, only two teams have gone from a non-playoff team to recording a Top 3 Offense and a Top 3 Defense the very next season. One of those teams is this year’s Ottawa 67’s. And while their journey to the Memorial Cup ceased in Round 2, the barber poles have captured everyone’s attention ahead of next season.
