Over the past few years, Ontario has received plenty of flack for not taking enough measures to remove lead traces in student drinking water. In fact, a new report from the Canadian Environmental Law Association has given the Ford government an ‘F’ for Effort, with Ottawa’s largest school board becoming the unfortunate poster child for the most positive lead tests. And now, there are renewed calls for the province to make changes to their existing approach, which has been active for 20-plus years.
