CFRA Weekends - Families and politicians gather for a Friday night vigil, honouring the lost lives of Tumbler Ridge

View descriptionShare

It's been an emotional several days for a section of small-town Canada, as the country wraps its arms around the people of Tumbler Ridge. British Columbia Premier David Eby, along with Canada's federal leaders and local officials, assembled Friday night to honour the victims of Tuesday's horrific mass shooting. The chaos started at the 18-year-old gunman's home after his mother and stepbrother were fatally shot. The scene then shifted to the town's secondary school where he opened fire, injured dozens, and killed another 6 people. CFRA's Andrew Pinsent paints the picture of Canada's grieving town almost one week later.
