Despite a floor-crossing that benefits the Red Team, the Carney Liberals are still operating under a strong minority government, meaning they will need help from other parties as they attempt to pass the Canada Strong Budget. The Conservatives have made it crystal-clear they will not support the Prime Minister’s gameplan, calling out a handful of homebuilding bureaucracies and the overall costly consequences that could arise. Yet, to this point, things are looking optimistic for the governing Liberals, as the budget survives a second confidence vote.
