It's definitely something for the World Cup co-host to build on, especially for a country that has been typically known as a hockey nation for countless decades. The next step is what happens after their shutout loss to Morocco, as Canada's qualification path for 2030 unofficially begins. And while the Canucks might be included in the future landscape of global soccer, the future face of the sport itself resides in Norway.
