Ottawa’s Auditor General tabled a variety of reports at City Hall this week. One of them raised questions surrounding OC Transpo’s hiring practices at the management level. Between 2021 and 2025, the report found that managers were bypassing formal hiring processes by directly appointing people, and some of those appointees lacked minimum qualifications for their roles.
