CFRA Live - Why the Liberal caucus revolt might have strengthened Trudeau's support

View descriptionShare

Earlier this week, more than a dozen Liberal MPs reportedly asked Justin Trudeau to step down as federal party leader. After carefully considering his political future, Trudeau says he will not abandon ship, maintaining that the Red Team is ‘strong and united’. As an added boost for the Liberals, they handily defeated the Tories in New Brunswick, as Susan Holt will become the province’s first female Premier. Is this an indication of a unified front, or is it a damning message to backbenchers that they don’t have the leverage or mechanism to oust Trudeau? Here to discuss further on the Sunday Political Panel is GZero Media contributor Tasha Kheiriddin, Traxxion Strategies President Karl Belanger, and Postmedia columnist Warren Kinsella.
