Ottawa city councillors have finalized next year's Municipal Budget. It includes a 3.9 percent increase to our city’s property taxes, costing the average homeowner an extra $168,000 in 2025. Councillors also approved a 5 percent increase to OC Transpo fares, as they stare down the barrel of a $120 million transit deficit. And with transit tardiness top of mind, River Ward councillor Riley Brockington spoke his mind during Wednesday’s budget debriefing. He joins Andrew Pinsent on CFRA Live.
