An Ottawa-based non-profit is asking for more provincial funding, as they work around the clock to support people who are living with intellectual disabilities. And the sad part is that several others are facing similar financial struggles. It’s been three decades since ‘Live, Work, Play’ has received an increase in base funding, despite a 60 percent cost-of-living increase over that time period. Keenan Wellar fears that financial strain will only get worse if action isn’t taken soon. He joins Andrew Pinsent on CFRA Live.
