Russia has taken the Presidency of the United Nations’ Security Council, fueling waves of criticism as its invasion of Ukraine continues into Year 2. Each of the Security Council's 15 members takes up the presidency, on a rotating basis, for a full month. The last time Russia took the wheel was in February 2022, back when it first launched the invasion. And despite Ukraine urging the council members to block the move, not enough of them agreed to do so. How will this impact the optics of the United Nations going forward? Andrew Pinsent chats with John Packer, a Law Professor at the University of Ottawa.
