Shawna Dolansky is a Professor at Carleton University. Like many of her colleagues, and like several teachers from all grades of learning, she is trying to navigate around the presence of Artificial Intelligence, specifically within the walls of her classroom. In a recent op-ed for MacLean's Magazine, Dolansky is putting her foot down, vowing that her learning experience will be AI-free as of this Fall. She cites a polarizing world as the main reason why today's students need to pick up the books and have productive discussions with each other, instead of the comments section. Dolansky joins Andrew Pinsent on CFRA Live.
