Canadian Blood Services is encouraging Canadians to lend a helping hand during a Mother’s Day stem cell drive next weekend. It is taking place on Saturday, May 10th at St. Francis Xavier High School on Spratt Road – starting at 11AM and running until 2PM. It’s being spearheaded by Hillary McKibbin, who is battling a pair of extremely rare blood disorders that could prove fatal if left untreated.
