As the temperatures warm up this weekend, Canada’s Capital is also bracing for a decent amount of rain. And thanks to that Winter thaw, the risk of flooding is rising, as some residents are already being told to exercise caution around their property. In fact, floods are the most frequently-occurring natural hazard in all of Canada, taking place five times as often as wildfires.
